It's new; it's fun;
and it's useful to gardeners, floral designers and arrangers.
It's The Gardener's Color Wheel. My name is
Sydney Eddison. I've been drawing and painting for as long as
I can remember, and gardening since 1961. On the strength of
this experience and my former profession as a set designer, I've
taught a course called Color
For Gardeners at the New York Botanical Garden for many
years. In class, I have used a color wheel for artist's produced
by The Color Wheel Company and described in my
books, The
Gardener's Palette and Gardens
To Go. |

Recently, The Color
Wheel Company asked me to collaborate on a new venture, a color
wheel for gardeners. And here it is! The Gardener's
Color Wheel will help you arrive at color
schemes that really work. The companion booklet expands your
color horizons. Illustrations of colorful plant combinations
and short blocks of text explain the relationships between colors,
principles of contrast and harmony; and the meaning and uses
of tints, tones, and shades.
